Space Race

The goal of this project was to create a board game for a specific age group based on the game play of an already existing board game. I designed my game’s brand identity, as well as the actual board game itself.

Space Race is a racing style board game for ages 5-8. The gameplay of Space Race is adopted from Candy Land. The child plays as one of four different alien characters and must travel from the sun to the moon. The game includes illustrations of all eight planets with information about each, in addition to shortcuts and obstacle spaces. My game includes a box, board, deck of cards, and four alien game pieces.
